“Alone” by riley
With his most recent release, “Alone,” riley shows us his radio ready range. An emotional ballad, it’s steeped in anxiety, depression, and loneliness.
When we last checked-in with Connecticut’s Riley, he had given us “Famous,” a song I deemed a pop banger. With his most recent release, “Alone,” he shows us his radio ready range. An emotional ballad, it’s steeped in anxiety, depression, and loneliness.
The production is on point, on par with anything you’d hear from a Sam Smith album. It is well paced and features a bridge that gives the song a touch of texture and provides @imrxley with an opportunity to show off his pipes. In general, the song allows his voice to stand out and makes him the star. He is a great singer, and does a great job conveying emotion in his voice. You can really feel the song, just like you could feel the bravado in “Famous.”
Riley’s music has pop star potential. Given the right opportunity, his stock could rise quickly. The 22-year-old is someone you should pay attention to. We certainly are.
